This was a very good read. I'd like to see another one written maybe same people different cases. Make it a series.

I really enjoyed the sarcastic voice in this one, though I usually like my noir with a harder edge. Really well-realized wiseass PI story, though I wanted much more from the best scene, the interplay at the office window.

I really enjoyed the Marlowe esque hard boiled detective, I thought the dialogue was good and the descriptive slang even better. The ending was so so, but otherwise, nicely done.
