Spend some time on Tonya. What are her motivations? What does she know about Laura and how can she use this to encourage her transition to Sean? Beside just shoving him into her life, what can she whisper to her young friend to leave her totally dependent on Sean for… everything? Including being in the room with the two of them - physically assisting in bringing her to heights she never knew…
I can also see her arranging, without Laura’s knowledge, that Tom “accidentally” finds his wife with The Thug. In the act. And that she is there as well. Whether he’s tied up or not, Tom is going to be owned by the 76 year old woman while his wife is stolen in front of his eyes!
