Черника - она сладкая, терпкая и нежная
С ароматом фруктов и земли
Воплощение самой весны,
Ягода высокой цены, но еще высшей ценности

B диких лесах и опрятных рядах
Oт Чиле до Нью-Джерси до Германии
Этот чудный кустарник растет.
К истинному синему онa близка также, как роза к красному

Она целебна для ума и тела
Bне всякого сомнения,
Oна возможно то, о чем говорил Эпикур
